汪徐家,数学家,澳大利亚科学院院士,澳大利亚国立大学教授。2002年获澳大利亚数学会奖章;2007年获第四届华人数学家大会晨兴数学金奖;2009年当选为澳大利亚科学院院士。汪徐家教授研究方向为偏微分方程,对完全非线性椭圆议程理论及其应用具有重要贡献。
报告摘要:
Optimal transport has found applications in many different areas, in particular it is useful tool in image process and machine learning. Optimal transport is closely related to the Monge-Ampere equation. Its potential function satisfies a second boundary condition of the Monge-Ampere equation. By studying the problem one can prove the existence, uniqueness, and regularity of optimal mappings. In this talk, we will explain application of optimal transportation, in particular those obtained by my collaborators and myself.
